INTRAOCULAR LENS IMPLANTS.

Intraocular lens implants correct the patient's previous refractive errors. Some of these lenses even offer a full range of near, intermediate, and distance vision correction, all in one lens ( multifocal and accomodative) that makes the patient less dependent on glasses and contact lenses after surgery.

Intraocular lens types

1. Monofocal , for one distance vision without glasses
2. Multifocal , for all distances without glasses
3. Accomodative , for all distances without glasses
4. Torics , for astigmatism

The patient has one opportunity to choose the intraocular lens that will change the way he/she sees the world. When talking to your doctor consider all options you have and choose wisely.
